Web Menus let you show your live tap list, bottles, and cans right on your website. When you add a new keg or change a price in the Windows Operations Program, your web menu updates automatically. No extra steps needed.
The Template Configurator is your design tool. It lets you pick a template, change colors and fonts, turn features on or off, and preview everything before you publish. It opens right inside the Windows Operations Program, so there’s nothing separate to install and nothing to copy back and forth.
You don’t need any coding knowledge to use the configurator. Everything is point-and-click.
Getting Started
1. In the Windows Operations Program, go to Web Menus
2. Click New to create a menu, or click an existing menu to edit it
3. The design window opens with the configurator inside it
4. Pick a template and customize it
5. Click Save
Your menu is saved against your location. You can reopen and adjust it at any time.
Choosing a Template
The configurator shows all available templates in a gallery. Click any template to load it in the preview area.
Each template has its own personality. Some are bold and colorful, some are clean and minimal. Many templates come in both light and dark versions, so pick the one that matches your website’s background.
Take your time browsing. You can switch between templates as many times as you want before you save.
Color Presets
Color presets are ready-made color combinations designed for each template. They’re a quick way to change the overall look without picking individual colors yourself.
To use a preset:
1. Select a template
2. Open the Theme Colors section in the settings panel
3. Choose a preset from the dropdown
Presets change multiple colors at once. Backgrounds, text, accents, and highlights all shift together to create a coordinated look.
Presets are starting points, not finished themes. After applying one, you can fine-tune any individual color using the color pickers below it. Think of presets as a head start: they get you in the neighborhood, and you adjust from there.
Not every template has the same presets. Each set is designed specifically for that template’s layout and style.
Customizing Your Template
Once you’ve picked a template, the settings panel gives you controls to make it yours. Settings are grouped into sections such as Display, Theme Colors, Header, Menu Items, Keg Info, and Layout.
Colors
The Theme Colors section has color pickers for the main areas of your template, such as page background, text color, and accent color. Each template names these differently, because every design uses color in its own way.
Click a color swatch to open the picker. You can choose visually or type in an exact hex code (like #C8842A) if you have specific brand colors.
Fonts
Change the heading and body fonts to match your brand. Each font has its own size control as well, so you can make headings larger or body text smaller without touching anything else.
Toggles
Toggles let you show or hide specific parts of the template. Common ones include:
• Show On Tap — the main tap list
• Show Bottles & Cans — your packaged beverages
• Show On Deck — what’s coming up next
• Show Logos — producer logos next to each item
• Show Tap Numbers — the tap handle number for each beverage
• Show Prices — pricing for each beverage
• Show Descriptions — beverage descriptions
• Beverage Style Color — colors each beverage by its style
• Full Width — lets the menu stretch to the full width of its space
Not every template has every toggle. The settings panel only shows what applies to the template you’ve selected.
Keg Levels
If your template shows keg levels, the Keg Info section has a Display Style setting that controls how they look:
• Keg Drum — a small keg icon that fills up
• Fill Box — a box that fills as the keg empties
• Bar — a simple horizontal bar
• Text % — just the number, as a percentage
Not every style is available on every template. Some designs only offer a subset, because not every look suits every layout.
Text
You can edit the title and subtitle that appear at the top of your menu. Type your bar or brewery name, a tagline, or leave the subtitle blank to hide it.
Advanced Mode
The design window has an Advanced button that swaps the configurator for the raw HTML behind your menu. Most operators never need this. It’s there for anyone who wants to hand-edit the markup or paste in a template they’ve been given.
One important warning: if you make changes in Advanced mode and then switch back to Configure mode, those changes are lost. The program will warn you before it happens. If you’ve hand-edited anything you want to keep, save a copy somewhere first.
Adding the Menu to Your Website
Once your menu is saved, there are two ways to get it onto your website. In the design window you’ll see two buttons: Copy URL and Copy Widget.
They do different things, and picking the right one matters.
Copy URL — a link to your menu
This copies a web address, the same kind of thing you’d see in your browser’s address bar. It points at a page that shows your menu and nothing else.
Use it when you want to send someone to your menu:
• Behind a “View Our Tap List” button or link on your website
• In a QR code for table tents, coasters, or the front door
• In a social media post or email newsletter
• On a tablet or TV browser in the taproom
There’s also a Create QR button in the same window, which turns that link into a QR code image for you.
Copy Widget — the menu inside your own page
This copies a small piece of code. When you paste it into one of your web pages, the menu appears right there on that page, surrounded by your own content and matching your site’s look.
Use it when you want the menu to be part of your website:
• A “Menu” page on your site that looks like the rest of your site
• A tap list partway down your homepage
• Your menu sitting above or below your hours, address, or events
Which one should I use?
Want to point people at your menu? Use Copy URL.
Want the menu to live on your own page? Use Copy Widget.
There’s no harm in trying both. Neither one changes your menu; they’re just two different ways of delivering it.
How to add it
1. Click Copy URL or Copy Widget next to your menu
2. Go to your website editor
3. For a URL: paste it wherever you’d normally put a link
4. For the widget: paste it into an HTML, embed, or code block. Most website builders (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, and others) have a block type for pasting raw HTML code.
Once it’s on your site, the menu updates automatically whenever you make changes in the Windows Operations Program. You don’t need to touch your website again.

Common questions
My prices aren’t showing up.
Check that Show Prices is turned on in the configurator’s settings panel. If prices are on and still not appearing, confirm that the beverages have prices set in the Windows Operations Program.
My beverages aren’t grouped the way I want.
Use the Group By setting to choose between Tap Groups, Categories, or no grouping at all. If you pick Categories, make sure each menu item has a Beverage Category assigned in the Windows Operations Program.
My menu looks blank.
Check that the beverages you expect are actually on tap or marked as available in the Windows Operations Program. Also check that the matching toggle is on: if Show Bottles & Cans is off, your bottle list won’t appear even though the beverages are there.
Can I go back to a previous design?
Your saved menu is stored in the Windows Operations Program, so you can reopen and adjust it at any time. If you’re about to make a big change and want a safety net, it’s worth saving a copy of your current design before you start.
